Never Alone

By Jennifer Grissop Ministries

“Good Morning Lord the night has gone – we bring to You our morning song. Praise Father Son and Holy Ghost. Amen.”

I woke up this morning at 4:45am with this song in my head.

Good Morning Everybody!

It’s been a LONG time since I’ve written!

Hope all is well with you and yours!!!

Everyone at our house is doing great!!!

We signed adoption agreements on our boys, Javon & Michael, on June 29th and are awaiting the adoption date! WE are STOKED!! I promise I’ll keep you posted on the progress and will post pictures from their Adoptions!!!

I just returned from an incredibly amazing week at Steve Hurst School of Music (www.SteveHurstSchoolofMusic.com)!!! If you are interested in going next year, please email me (jennifergrissopministries@yahoo.com)! A week at the school will change your life and your ministry FOREVER! 2009 was my second year and I’m planning to return again next year!

God is opening some exciting doors for our ministry… more details coming soon!! I am blown away by God’s timing! Each morning at school we had a chapel service with worship and devotion led by Ricky Curry… the topic this year was “NEVER ALONE”. Even when God’s plan makes absolutely NO sense to our minds – WE ARE NEVER ALONE!!! When we are faced with a decision and both choices seem wrong – WE ARE NEVER ALONE!! Think about Abraham – God promised him a son and was true to his promise – but then God asked him to take his life. Did that make sense? NO! But Abraham was NEVER ALONE! How about Daniel? He knew that if he bowed to HIS God he would be thrown into a lions den, but he also knew he had found favor in God’s eyes, so he opened up his windows for everybody to see. Daniel 6:16 “May your God, whom you serve continually, rescue you!” The amazing thing to me is even the King knew there was something special about Daniel. It stressed the king to have to issue to order to have him cast into the Lions den! But wait, there’s more! DANIEL WAS NEVER ALONE!!! Daniel 6:19 -28 “At the first light of dawn, the king got up and hurried to the lions’ den. When he came near the den, he called to Daniel in an anguished voice, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to rescue you from the lions?” Daniel answered, “O king, live forever! My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, O king.” The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him, because he had trusted in his God. At the king’s command, the men who had falsely accused Daniel were brought in and thrown into the lions’ den, along with their wives and children. And before they reached the floor of the den, the lions overpowered them and crushed all their bones. Then King Darius wrote to all the peoples, nations and men of every language throughout the land:
“May you prosper greatly! “I issue a decree that in every part of my kingdom people must fear and reverence the God of Daniel. “For he is the living God and he endures forever; His kingdom will not be destroyed, his dominion will never end. He rescues and he saves; he performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.” So Daniel prospered during the reign of Darius and the reign of Cyrus the Persian.” WE ARE NEVER ALONE!

Am I the only one excited today?

SATAN wants us to forget that we serve a LIVING GOD! He’s not in the borrowed tomb – HE’S ALIVE!! WE ARE NEVER ALONE!!! I am very aware that the world’s economy is BAD – but I also KNOW this world and everything in it belongs to GOD! Maybe you lost your job – the word says “I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.” (Psalms 37:25) Someway somehow God will provide? Maybe you’re SICK in your body – “by HIS stripes we ARE healed.” (Isaiah 53:7).

God used so many things at school this year to spoke to me… but I could never begin to share them all – I am overflowing… but 3 statements that have stuck with me are… #1 – I AM NEVER ALONE (see above) #2 – BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED! Be faithful right where you are (GOD IS THERE) and watch what HE will do! Get out of HIS way and serve with a smile knowing you are right in the center of God’s will. Sing wherever God opens the door – the nursing home, a prison… sing to the broken and hurting and watch GOD change lives! That’s what ministry is all about! #3 – WALK IN PRAISE! When you’re day is perfect – WALK IN PRAISE! When you want to throw up your hands & quit – WALK IN PRAISE! When your heart is breaking & you think no one cares – WALK IN PRAISE! (Praise – to glorify God especially by the attribution of perfections or to express a favorable judgment of) Praise is much deeper than lifting our voices in song or raising our hands in worship… it’s more than telling God how much we love him- praise has nothing to do with how I feel or what I’m facing in my life!

WHY DON’T YOU PRASE HIM TODAY?

I DARE YOU TO!

Cause we’re NEVER alone!!!

In His Grip,
Jennifer
