Hey Everyone!
I trust you had a wonderful Christmas!
We enjoyed a wonderful weekend in a cabin in the Smoky Mountains . It was absolutely amazing. We just relaxed and had a great time being together! I’ve been working a lot lately so it was great to spend some quality time with the kids! Javon and Savannah were so afraid that Santa wouldn’t be able to find them, but, I’m happy to report that he was able to find us without any problems. They were so excited when they woke up on Christmas morning to see their new toys. The best part was when Savannah and JJ sang Happy Birthday to Jesus. I am so thankful that my children know the true reason for Christmas… CHRIST!
God blessed us so much in 2008 both as a family and in our ministry. I have shared the stage with some exceptional artists: Mike & Kelly Bowling, The McRaes, Hope’s Journey, The Browder’s, Josh & Ashley Franks & Skyline Drive just to name a few. I was blessed to attend Steve Hurst School of Music in Nashville , TN and also enjoyed a week at NQC in Louisville , KY. I have met so many incredibly talented and anointed people. I am so excited to see what God has in store for us in 2009! Let come what may God is still the same… yesterday, today & forever! He’s still God. Trust him! He WILL make a way! Psalms 37:25 – “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” Someway… somehow… in HIS time, he will make a way! I have decided that let come what may I am going to walk into 2009 with a Thankful heart and attitude of expectation. I am expecting God to open doors! The word says, “I have not because I ask not!” I am asking God to open more doors for my ministry. God is faithful! So, I believe, that if I ask, in faith, believing, that he will be faithful to fulfill my request. Aren’t you glad that our GOD is not too busy to listen to our prayers? He’s not hard of hearing nor blind… he knows all, sees all, hears all… he’s always there! That’s a pretty awesome God! I feel sorry for others who don’t believe in God! They spend their time begging their gods to answer their petitions and they never get anywhere! I’m so thankful that we serve a GOD who is alive and well! He’s not buried in a borrowed tomb… he only needed it for the weekend! He’s Alive & that’s enough for me to wake up each morning with a smile on a face.
I pray your 2009 is filled with blessings greater than anything you could have imagined and that you see souls saves and lives changed like never before.
I know you’re all busy so I’m gonna close. I’ll try to BLOG again soon!
Remember…
You are held securely…
In His Grip,
Jennifer
