Hey!

So, what’s really going on in your life today?

How was your Memorial Day? Mine was AWESOME! I spent the day with our friends, Mike & Virginia. They hosted a cookout for the guys at Home with a Heart! We met at their house, and enjoyed a wonderful lunch, fellowship, some singing and a game of horseshoe. (That was fun! You just had to be there! God did not make me athletic at all – just ask the guys, they’ll tell you all about my horseshoe skills. I must admit that Janet is a very brave woman… but, like I said before, you just had to be there! LOL!)

I am blessed to live in the greatest nation in the world… the United States of America! I want to say THANK YOU to all the men and women, past and present, who have sacrificed their time and all too often, their lives, so that I can live in America and I have the freedom to BLOG to you tonight! Is America where she needs to be? No! Is there HOPE for America? ABSOLUTELY!

2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

GOD is our HOPE! If we as American’s, as CHRISTIANS, will humble ourselves and pray and seek the face of God, and if WE will turn from our wicked ways, then God will hear from heaven and he’ll forgive us and HE will heal our land! HOPE is in our hands! Are WE willing to invest our time to fast and pray? Are WE willing to turn from our wicked, selfish ways and fully surrender to GOD!  (Surrender – to give up completely or agree to forgo especially in favor of another)  Have you fully surrendered your life to GOD? Have you given him complete control? Are you seeking God’s will for your life? Are you committed to spend time in his word daily? It’s up to us!

Acts 2:17 – “In the last days, God says, I will pour out my spirit on all flesh.”

What is the most important thing in your life? What are the desires of your heart? God is moving! He is still in control! He’s still SAVING souls, CHANGING lives and SETTING the captive free! Our GOD is the same YESTERDAY, TODAY & FOREVER! He changes not!

What’s going on in my life…
It’s been BUSY…
Savannah had 4K Testing yesterday… that was interesting!  She wasn’t very interested in answering the teacher’s questions.  She wouldn’t say a word.  We’ll know if she is going to 4K in a couple of weeks! Javon started Summer Camp this week.  He loves the field trips.  They are going swimming and bowling and skating… it’s going to be a fun filled Summer.  Michael went to the doctor today and got 4 shots.  He didn’t even cry!  I don’t know about you, but, if I had to get 4 shots, I would be crying!  I HATE needles!  Enough about that…

I will be in Blacksburg, SC on Saturday night at Crystal Sea Seafood.  I hope to see you there!
